About Us
We exist to improve the quality of life of individuals affected by autism and other neurodivergent conditions.

Our Story
In 1999, Founder Amanda Ralston first encountered the concept of autism while studying psychology at Centre College. The textbook revealed that autism was a diagnosis given to only 1 in every 1,000 individuals at the time. The gold standard treatment, known as Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy, was emerging, yet faced significant challenges.
During those early days, there was a glaring lack of funding, no insurance coverage for autism-related services, and a severe shortage of providers. Additionally, the certification process for ABA providers had only just begun. Fast forward to today, and autism is now as prevalent as affecting 1 in every 36 individuals.

While there's good news in the form of service coverage being available in all 50 states, the growth of the autism service market has outpaced the development of quality standards. More than two decades ago, Ralston became one of the initial 1,500 certified providers worldwide. Today, that number has surged to over 60,000 providers, representing a staggering 500% increase over the past decade. Unfortunately, over half of these providers have less than 5 years of experience, highlighting a lack of seasoned professionals to mentor the newcomers.
The consequence of this rapid expansion is a decline in the quality of autism treatment and a fragmented approach to planning care. It is against this backdrop that NonBinary Solutions emerged.
NonBinary Solutions is pioneering a groundbreaking approach by applying established medical care technology to the autism and neurodivergent service support market. Their software acts as a digital guide, standardizing and streamlining clinical decision-making for providers, caregivers, and payors. Like digital bumper rails, the software assists users in navigating complex processes, leading to the creation of individualized treatment pathways that significantly enhance the quality of life for individuals impacted by autism.
Furthermore, the data generated by users of NonBinary Solutions' software will contribute to generative AI models, ultimately driving improved outcomes in the field of autism treatment. This innovative approach represents a turning point in the quest to provide better support and care for those living with autism.
